Thanks from 5J: Student Directors on Board of Education

Celebrating Our Student Directors at CASB’s 8th Annual Convention. 

A huge shout-out to Haiden Chambers, Annabelle Rusco, and Liam Burack for modeling strong leadership, uplifting student voices in all our schools, and inspiring peers in other districts. This past week at the Colorado Association of School Boards 8th annual convention, they presented with Harrison District 2 on “Empowering Student Voice: Integrated Students as School Board Members” and took charge in the Student Leadership Academy strand—showcasing what it means to be leaders.

Every day, these student leaders embody the qualities we envision for OuR Graduates: responsible, resourceful, innovative, relational, resilient, and ethical.
