The Exchange

What is The Exchange?

The Exchange is a school‑based enterprise where students rotate through real roles—merchandising, finance, marketing, customer service, inventory, and e‑commerce. Students use a point‑of‑sale system, track costs and margins, run promotions, and analyze performance data to improve operations.

Three Ways Students Operate The Exchange

Students plan, execute, and review in three complementary formats.

Physical Store

On‑campus retail space for daily operations: customer service, merchandising, inventory counts,  food safety, and end‑of‑day reconciliation. Ideal for leadership roles and shift management.

Trailer

The Exchange “On the Move”. Mobile retail at games and community events. Students handle event logistics, quick‑set merchandising, portable POS, and high‑volume service with real‑time problem solving.

Online Store

E‑commerce operations: product listings, photos, descriptions, inventory sync, digital promotions, and order fulfillment. Online Store
