Plant Science
Overview:
In this pathway, students learn about plant science, plant identification, crop production, and how plants are utilized for landscaping, design, and profit. You will also learn about natural resources and the environment. Plants provide food, regulate the water cycle, create oxygen, and provide a habitat for other species. Without plants, life on Earth would not be sustainable formost species, including humans. Not only do you see plants everywhere in the real world, but they are also all over the scientific world. Farmers have been observing plants for thousands of years — they look for plants that grow quickly and have higher yields. Discover the many global career opportunities in the plant science field.
