Standard Response Protocol (SRP):
A uniform, planned, and practiced response to any incident is the foundation of a safe school. Safe business. Safe community. The SRP is action-based, flexible, and easy to learn. It rationally organizes tactics for response to weather events, fires, accidents, intruders and other threats to personal safety.
Caring for Every Student Safety & Security:
School Emergency Response
Our District Emergency Response plan is all about keeping everyone safe and ready. Whether it’s a natural disaster or any other emergency, our team is trained to respond quickly and efficiently. It’s our way of making sure our schools are a safe space for learning and growing, no matter what happens.
McKinney-Vento
The McKinney-Vento Program at Weld County RE-5J School District warmly supports kids and teens who don’t have a steady place to live, making sure they can go to school, get enrolled quickly, and have a ride to their school. We are focused on helping them feel safe, included, and focused on learning.
Management Of Communicable Disease Plan
The Weld County School District RE5J’s Communicable Disease Plan aims to reduce infectious disease spread, ensuring early outbreak detection and minimal disruption to school activities through collaborative efforts with health partners and district departments.
