It’s the time of year when we can all use a little extra support! Here are some resources that you can use or share with a neighbor.
Hunger Heroes: If you have students in the Weld RE-5J school district, they can sign up to receive food backpacks on the weekend. Fill out this Google form to get signed up.
Food Locator: The Weld Food Bank shares which pantries are open each day to find food now.
Weld County Mobile Food Truck: The food truck visits once a month.
- Johnstown – YMCA: 3rd Friday of the month at 9AM
- Milliken – Thompson River Parks & Rec: 4th Wednesday at 10AM
Food Pantries:
- St. John's Catholic Church: 1000 Country Acres Dr. Johnstown / Wed/Fri 1:30-3:30pm
- Milliken Food Pantry: 201 S Olive / 1st Mon + 3rd Monday 12:00-2:00 and following Wednesday 3:30-5:30pm

The Cottage Collective: A free clothing closet available to residents in Johnstown and Milliken, and families in the Weld RE-5J School District. Contact alexandra.ham@weldre5j.org to make an appointment to shop.
