The nation faces an acute shortage of teachers, as well as academically talented students who are interested in teaching as a career. The Teacher Cadet program provides the needed spark to encourage academically talented students to pursue a career in the education profession.

  • Level 2
    • Teacher Cadet 1 A/B (ACC Concurrent Enrollment EDU 2211 & EDU 2088) and Early Childhood Education (ACC Distance learning EC 1011)
  • Level 3
    • Guidance Strategies for Young Children (ACC Distance learning EC 1031)
  • Level 4
    • Work-Based Learning: FCS (Family Consumer Science)
 

Concurrent Enrollment:

Our partnership with Aims Community College creates opportunities for students to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time through concurrent enrollment.

Industry Certificates:

Students can earn nationally recognized certifications which proves they have the skills employers need and can lead to employment opportunities not otherwise available.
