Overview:

The Health Science/Behavioral Health CTE pathway introduces students to the foundational concepts of healthcare, with a specific focus on mental and behavioral health. It prepares students for postsecondary education and careers in counseling, psychology, psychiatry, social work, public health, and related fields.

    • Introduction to Behavioral Health Care & Wellness (CCA Concurrent Enrollment PTE 1010) and MCHI: Mental Health Crisis & Intervention: Preparedness & Empathy (CCA Concurrent Enrollment with BEH 1001)
  • Level 4
    •  Case Management & Clinical Documentation (CCA Concurrent Enrollment with BEH 1030) and Applied Therapeutic Communication Skills (CCA Concurrent Enrollment with BEH 2030)
 

Concurrent Enrollment:

Our partnership with University of Northern Colorado & Community College of Aurora creates opportunities for students to earn high school credit and college credit at the same time through concurrent enrollment.
